I know, it's been a while. I have a rule that if I don't get at least 6 hours of sleep a night, I go into survival mode and no blog. That and we were having so much fun in America, it seemed a complete waste to turn on a computer. Here's a photo re-cap of our summer: |
Wobbles finished her second year of nursery school (pre-school). Here she is with her two main teachers, Jennifer and Rebecca.

| Let's pack (and unpack, and repack, and unpack) to go to Grandma's! |
 |
| No school? Let's do face paint every day! |

| I'm a sucker for Sundance suckers. |
 |
| Excuse me, I need to take this. |
 |
| So, I'm supposed to wave these? Happy Birthday America (at the Freedom Festival). |

| Spot the George. |

| Visiting where Mummy and Daddy got married. |

| Wobbles adds her bit of art to the Provo Farmer's Market |
 |
| Nickel City. The lights, the noise, the excitement. |
 |
| How we spent most of our summer. Otter pops and a kiddy pool in Grandma's back garden. Everyone is happy. |
 |
| Fun with Uncle Mike. Definitely more for another post. |
 |
| Making s'mores at Cousin Wendy's house. |
I forgot to take a camera with me to America. Seriously? Who does that? There are lots of things I wish I would have gotten pictures of: more of the Freedom Festival, family, the mountains, splash pads, OPUB, Wobbles swimming lessons... I would love it if anyone wants to share pics with me.
I know I'm terrible at documenting things, but genuinely, we set out to have a laid-back, easy-going summer, and that's exactly what we did. We went to my
favourite library countless times, saw good friends, went to the cheap cinema loads, and had lots of tacos and milkshakes. Bliss. And to top it off, we got to stay with doting grandparents for five weeks. It was our perfect summer (besides Mike being locked away working on his dissertation), and was even worth being named the "spew crew" on our journey home. More on that later.
